EXPLORERS WANTED. COME AND SEE THE VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE IN ITS NATURAL HABITAT

After the success of the Coronation Big Lunch, why don't you venture out and join the Great Smeaton Village Hall Committee. You can help this endangered species by discussing future events or actions to keep the village hall a going concern and available for all. All you have to do is come along, hear what's going on and, if you join, add your suggestions. Taster sessions also available, just come along and try before you buy. Don't leave it to David Attenborough, come along in person.

When and where:

Monday, June 5th 7pm to 9 p.m.

At the Village Hall. Obviously.

PAT A CAKE BAKE A CAKE FOR THE POP-UP CAFÉ:

Do you love to bake? Alone or with friends or children? Well, why not bake a cake for the Great Smeaton Village Hall Pop Up Cafe. Twice a month, a café pops up in the Village Hall, organised by the Village Hall Committee and we need cakes! The café is open from 2 to 4 p.m. on first and third Wednesday of the month but you don't need to be free then. Get in touch so we can make sure that the number of cakes is just right each time and find out how to get your cakes to the table.

Otherwise, it's back to my rather predictable Vicky Sandwich again. Can't make the 7th? What about the 21st instead?
